The effortlessly slick debut announces the arrival of Jessica Rhodes as a future sensation with the remarkably powerful and satisfyingly honest soul-pop anthem, “Who You Are”, released Monday 11th April.

Taken from Rhodes’ forthcoming EP released later this year, “Who You Are” was tracked at the legendary AIR Studios, London under the guidance of veteran producer Matt Butler (Phil Collins, Luther Vandross). Jessica Rhodes has been invited to support the legendary 80s singer Paul Young on Sunday 22^nd November.

Rugby FM invited Jessica and her band to play ahead of Paul at a one-off special show at BENN Hall, Rugby after hearing her band at a local venue during the summer.

We’re so delighted to be supporting Paul Young in November! It is such an honour to be the only support act for the evening too, we can’t wait!”

The support comes just ahead of the anticipated release of Jessica’s debut album.

Jessica Rhodes has once again been invited back to play at the Genting Forum Stage, this time performing ahead of multi-platinum selling band Simply Red.

Having previously appeared at Genting Arena playing ahead of Maroon 5 and Glastonbury headliner, Florence and the Machine; Jessica Rhodes is delighted to announce that she will be returning on Sunday 13^th December with her 5-piece full band.

Rhodes’ Debut EP has had airplay on several BBC radio stations, as well as a being invited to perform live on air earlier this year.

There are also talks of a debut album being release later this year, with a winter tour to follow.

It’s all under wraps at the moment, but we are working with some awesome people right now and I can’t wait to share our plans with you very soon!”

PLAYING AHEAD OF FLORENCE AND THE MACHINE

Jessica Rhodes is set to perform ahead of Florence and the Machine at the Genting Arena Forum.

Having recently completed a summer tour promoting her debut EP, Jessica Rhodes has been invited to play ahead of this years Glastonbury headliner Florence and the Machine on Saturday, 19^th September 2015.

Jessica’s summer tour included dates playing alongside the likes of Paul Carrack and Maroon 5. Her debut EP was produced by Matt Butler, who has worked with artists such as Paul McCartney and Luther Vandross.

Jessica’s music has received extensive radio play on BBC Introducing and she was recently interviewed on BBC Coventry and Warwickshire, ahead of Napton Music Festival.

We’re so excited to be performing ahead of Florence and the Machine at the Genting Forum stage. It’s such a great opportunity!

2015 TOUR – PRESS RELEASE

Emerging artist Jessica Rhodes has been invited to open for Maroon 5 at the Genting Arena (formerly LG Forum) on 31st May, as part of a spring tour promoting her debut EP. The tour is set to kick off at Camden’s legendary venue, Dublin Castle on 23rd April, followed by performances across London and the Midlands.

Inspired by artists such as Tracy Chapman, Fleetwood Mac and Joss Stone, Jessica’s self-titled debut EP is a concoction of soul infused folk-pop with soaring vocal melodies and soulful grooves. The three track EP was physically and digitally released on 30th March.

The tracks were recorded with producer Matt Butler (Mick Jagger, Paul McCartney, Luther Vandross), who kept their music as raw and authentic as possible, during sessions at Rockfield Studios, Monmouth and A.I.R Studios London.

It was really inspiring to record in such amazing spaces. It was only the day before we arrived in A.I.R that Stevie Wonder was in there recording! – Jessica

The debut three track EP has already received airplay on BBC C&W and BBC WM as well as international Digital Radio sites and is available to buy at all major online distributors.
